User Manual for Laptop Battery
- When you receive the battery, it is recommended to calibrate it by fully charging it for 6-12 hours at the first time, then discharge it to 5-10%. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times to fully activate the lithium-ion battery and maximize its capacity.
- During normal use, if the battery discharge reaches 5%, it must be shut down and recharged. It is strictly forbidden to discharge the battery to 0%, as it can damage the battery and accelerate its deterioration.
- If the battery is not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge it to more than 70% and avoid storing it for more than 3 months.
- Avoid squeezing, disassembling, dropping, heating, or short-circuiting the battery.
- Use special equipment to charge the battery.
- Avoid using the battery in environments with excessively high or low temperatures.
- If the computer does not recognize the battery, check if the battery connector is in bad contact with the computer socket. Ensure that the copper battery connector is exposed.
- If the battery cannot be charged normally, it may not be the fault of the battery. The motherboard, power adapter, system, ambient temperature, etc., can also affect the battery’s performance.
Battery Activation Program
When charging the battery for the first time, the device may stop charging the battery when it is half charged due to different voltages and unstable currents. If this happens, simply remove the battery from the device, reinstall it, and recharge. It may require several iterations of this process to fully charge a new battery.
